Make Do!

The children took part in a Make Do project this week.

They had to build a mode of transport for Sally the bear that was comfortable and safe.

They had their designs agreed by the teachers and then they became engineers. They used plastic saws, bolts and cardboard wheels, along with the mountain of cardboard boxes – no tape involved.

They demonstrated skills of perseverance and determination when it didn’t go right first time.

They really enjoyed it and spent the afternoon writing about their experiences.
