New EYFS outside area

Last week, EYFS pupils and staff finally got to try their new playground. This is what they had to say…

“I love it!!” Ava, Oak

“It’s a lovely working environment,” Mrs Doe.

“I love the pirate ship,” Megan, Chestnut.

“There’s a big playhouse, it’s so tall!” Aliyah, Oak.

“It is amazing; it promotes the children’s social skills and gross motor skills. Seeing the children learn outside has increases their wellbeing,” Miss Thompson.

“The pirate ship is good – it’s such fun!” Lila, Chestnut.

“The children love it, it gives them lots of space to play outside safely,” Miss Pitcher.

“I love all the tunnels!” Ruby, Chestnut.

“Finally, we can play in the sandpit!” Lapsang, Chestnut.

“I’m so excited to see the children enjoying the new play area, it has been a joy to see them embracing new experiences and letting their imaginations run wild.” Mrs Kindred.
