Parent governor vacancy

We currently have a vacancy for one parent governor, and are seeking nominations for an enthusiastic and committed parent or carer to join our Local School Board at Valley Invicta Primary School at Aylesford.

While a Local School Board’s main tasks are to support their schools, ensure that all pupils receive a high-quality education, and plan for future development and improvement, it’s also an opportunity for those with a real passion for education to get involved and make a difference.

Within this role, you would play an active part as a ‘critical friend’ to the school, lending your support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, but also challenging those things you feel could be done differently.
